Environment Canterbury has an obligation and a desire to report back to the community on our activity.

Formal reporting back takes many forms – the most obvious being our annual report, released each year following the end of our financial year (1 July to 30 June).

We also release a number of other reports including an annual compliance monitoring snapshot, recreational water quality report, annual groundwater quality survey reports and a water use report. This year we have also launched an online tool for environmental reporting across the ten ‘water zones’. The first stage of this online tool is for biodiversity.

2017/18 Joint Working Programmes

Environment Canterbury has six joint work programmes with stakeholder organisations. View the 2017/18 joint work programmes and progress updates.   The work programmes set out how we work together to deliver better community outcomes, as well as achieving more with our shared resources.
