Update 1: 11/3/2019 Application for quarry extension in Yaldhurst

Environment Canterbury has accepted a complete application under Section 88 of the Resource Management Act (RMA) from SOL Quarries and will begin processing it.

SOL Quarries is applying for four consents related to expanding its current operations at 93 and 133 Conservators Road, Yaldhurst, the approximate area of the expansion is 28 hectares. The consents are for; to use land for quarry activities; to discharge contaminants to air; to divert water and to discharge contaminants to land where they may enter water.

Now that the application has been accepted, Environment Canterbury will begin to process that application within the legal framework it must operate under.

Any update about this application will be posted on this page.
