The Commissioner granted the application to to take and use groundwater from bore L35/0980 at a maximum rate of 83 litres per second with a volume not exceeding 4600 cubic metres per day and a volume not exceeding 1,679,000 cubic metres per year.  Water will be used for potable supply for community drinking water purposes, to meet current and future requirements for Darfield.
