A request for information solely about the contamination status of a land parcel will be dealt with free of charge. In some circumstances where the request relates to numerous land parcels, a memorandum of understanding between the enquirer and Environment Canterbury may need to be signed, which restricts the use of the information. Requests for bulk information which take more than one hour to process may also incur a labour charge of $90 per hour thereafter and a printing charge of 20 c per page.
