16 November 2009 - Problems with Surface Water Quality Sites Layer

A problem has been picked up with the surface water quality sites layer.  When a user tries to identify or select points in this layer, it returns a list of all of the sites and not just the ones being looked at.

We are endeavoring to fix this problem as quickly as possible and will update this message as soon as a solution has been put in place. 

12 August 2009 - Feedback - Environment Canterbury Internet Mapping Tools

Environment Canterbury is looking at redeveloping our Internet GIS Tool and are seeking feedback from GIS Mapping users about the following:

• What do you use the GIS site for?
• How do you use it; what functionality do you use regularly?
• What functionality is not available that would be useful, and why?
• What functionality would you consider a "nice to have" and a "must have"?
