The non-enforcement decision for the deposition of inert materials within Christchurch has been lifted. Associated activities are now required to comply with business as usual processes. Attached is a brochure which may be able to provide direction should you still need to deposit material into ground. While the factsheet uses in ground swimming pools as an example the same rules apply to the infilling of any land. Should you have any further questions or require clarification on any point please do not hesitate to contact the customer services team at Environment Canterbury on 0800 324 636.
