The Water Management Charge will go towards the State of Environment monitoring and investigations work we currently engage in across the Canterbury region. This work involves scientific monitoring of water quality and quantity for both surface water and groundwater resources.
This work provides Environment Canterbury and other interested parties with scientific information about the state of Canterbury’s water.
