You can use the Request to Surrender Resource Consent form to surrender part of your consent. As an example, if you are consented to extract from several sites each with a permitted volume, you could surrender some of them thereby reducing the total volume. Similarly a form is available to Change or Cancel Conditions, so a condition limiting volume could be changed to reduce the volume. Processing of these requests are subject to cost recovery charges.
