Decisions were notified on Variation 12 of Chapter 3 of the Proposed Canterbury Natural Resources Regional Plan on 13 December 2008.
Variation 12 introduces plan provisions relating to the management of PM10 contaminant in Kaiapoi – in order to meet the Resource Management (National Environmental Standards relating to certain air pollutants, dioxins, and other toxics) Regulations 2004.
Variation 12 was notified on 27 October 2007. Submissions closed on 7 November 2007 and the 18 submissions received were summarised by council staff. The Summary of Decisions Requested (SODR) was notified for Further Submissions in early 2008.
