In May 2001, Environment Canterbury confirmed the removal of the expiry date (31 December 2000) from the Transitional Regional Plan for Nelson-Marlborough region as it applies within Kaikoura District (including Changes 1 and 2).  It also added additional conditions for the general authorisation for the discharge of septic tank effluent to land.
