Our Long-Term Council Community Plan 2009-19 (LTCCP) sets our goals, work programmes and provides the framework for our current levels of service. It was superseded by a new Long-Term Plan in July 2012.
Submissions on the draft LTCCP closed on 28 April 2009. Changes were made to the draft LTCCP as a result of submissions and the Council struck the rates on 25 June 2009.
The Draft Annual Plan 2011/12 consulted on two amendments to the LTCCP. These amendments were adopted by Council on the 23rd June 2011 and were included in our Annual Plan for 2011/12.

This report dated 25 June 2009 relates to the Long Term Council Community Plan (the LTCCP) for the 10 years commencing 1 July 2009, approved by Environment Canterbury on 25 June 2009. Subsequent to this, Environment Canterbury adopted an amendment to its LTCCP for the 10 years commencing 1 July 2009 to cease work on the Clean Heat project in Christchurch, which forms part of the Air Quality group of activities and to cease work on the activities within the Energy group of activities on 23 June 2011. Environment Canterbury has not prepared an amended LTCCP that incorporates the amendment adopted on 23 June 2011. Consequently, to form a view of the LTCCP of Environment Canterbury, the content of the LTCCP to which this report relates should be considered in conjunction with Environment Canterbury’s adopted amendment. There is no legislative requirement for us to report on the adopted amendment and we have not done so.
This report relates to the LTCCP of Environment Canterbury for the ten years commencing 1 July 2009 which was approved by Environment Canterbury on 25 June 2009 included on Environment Canterbury’s website. Environment Canterbury is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the website. We have not been engaged to report on the integrity of Environment Canterbury’s website. We accept no responsibility for any changes that may have occurred to the LTCCP since it was initially presented on the website.
