Mapping of vulnerability of nitrate and phosphorus leaching, microbial bypass flow, and soil runoff potential for two areas of Canterbury
This report models and maps the vulnerability of land to leach nitrogen and phosphorus, to promote phosphorus (and sediment) enriched runoff, and to leach microbes from agricultural land to aquifers or transport them to streams in 2 case study areas. It also models and maps the optimal riparian buffer width to trap bacteria in overland flow.
