Regional Plans 

Canterbury Natural Resources Regional Plan OPERATIVE: This plan (NRRP) addresses sustainable management of air, land and water resources in the Canterbury Region.

Land and Vegetation Management Regional Plan OPERATIVE - UNDER REVIEW:This plan addresses various aspects of land and vegetation management throughout Canterbury.

Opihi River Regional Plan OPERATIVE: This plan promotes the sustainable management of the natural and physical resources of the Opihi River and its tributaries.

Pareora Regional Plan OPERATIVE: The Plan sets out the resource management issues related to the abstraction of ground and surface water in the Pareora River Catchment, and the objectives, policies, and methods for managing them.

Regional Coastal Plan OPERATIVE: This plan promotes the sustainable management of the natural and physical resources of the Coastal Marine Area and the coastal environment.

Waimakariri River Regional Plan OPERATIVE: This plan sets out the objectives, policies, and methods for resolving resource management issues within the catchment of the Waimakariri River.
