Publicly Notified Consents

Notification of applications for Resource Consent under Section 93(2) or 94C of the Resource Management Act 1991.

When a resource consent is received by Environment Canterbury, the Council conducts an assessment of its environmental effects. If the environmental effects are more than minor, the resource consent requires a public notification under Section 93(1) of the Resource Management Act 1991.

All publicly notified resource consents are listed under the News and Notices section and homepage of this website. On the Public Notices page, there is a page for each public notice and at the base of each public notice page is a link to a submission form for public use.
