The Porters Ski Area and associated infrastructure and discharge areas for the consents were to be located within land with legal description Pt RS 39658, Section 1 SO 387006 (leased from the Crown under Section 83 Land Act 1948) and Section 1 SO 11313, located on State Highway 73, Canterbury, at or about map reference NZMS 260 K35:009-691.
The applications were: CRC103857, CRC110322, CRC110321, CRC110401, CRC110402, CRC110403, CRC110404, CRC110406, CRC110407, CRC110408 and CRC110411.
Decision
The Hearing Commissioners have granted resource consent applications relating to the development of the Porters Ski Area and village development and approved with modifications Selwyn District Council Plan Change No: 25. Read the Decision.
Hearing details
The joint hearing was adjourned 21 July 2011, and was due to recommence on Tuesday 16th August 2011. The reconvened hearing was then postponed due to the recent snow event and and recommenced Wednesday 24 August 2011 at 9.00 am at Wigram Manor, 14 Henry Wigram Drive, Christchurch, to hear responses to questions relating to the plan change, reporting officers, and the applicants closing right of reply.
