New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has applied for consents for the discharge of stormwater from the existing state highway network throughout the Canterbury Region including Banks Peninsula but excluding the remainder of Christchurch City. The application includes “minor” additions to the network. “Minor projects” are works on State Highways that will create 4 hectares of new seal or less. Consents for land-use associated with these “minor projects” have also been applied for.
