• Please note points of clarification with regards to the reports by Mr Matt Smith and Mr Jon Williamson:

  There is no agreed “Joint Statement” between Mr Ian McIndoe (for the applicants) and the Council’s expert Mr Matt Smith. Any reference to such a statement in the reports of Mr Smith and Mr Jon Williamson refers to a draft version that was prepared for the purposes of a joint statement but was never agreed and signed by Mr McIndoe. All statements in the S42A reports represent only the opinions of the ECan S42A officers and ECan’s consultants.
