Please note: You will need to apply for a resource consent for any burner that is not allowed or approved for installation under the current rules or that has not been granted a resource consent (eg: through the manufacturer or importer).  A resource consent can be expensive and there is no guarantee it will be granted, especially not in built up areas. You cannot apply for a resource consent for a woodburner that is not approved by the Ministry for the Environment as listed on their website .
