  07 June 2013 Additional funding for removal of hazardous waste in residential red zone
  Environment Canterbury welcomed the announcement today by the Minister for the Environment, Amy Adams, of $500,000 extra funding for the removal of household hazardous waste from residential red zone properties.

  06 June 2013 Farmer mucks up with broken irrigator
  A Duntroon farmer has been found guilty of breaching his resource consent by discharging effluent onto the ground and allowing it to pool. Stephen Fenwick received a fine of $13,500 and was ordered to pay total costs of nearly $1,500.
